My Story
I’m a clinical neuropsychologist, speaker, and educator who has spent my career helping people navigate difficult moments, complex decisions, and sustained pressure. I earned my B.A. from Columbia University and my Ph.D. from Long Island University, and I’ve worked extensively in private practice alongside delivering talks and workshops across clinical, educational, corporate, and community settings.

Over the years, people who know my personal story have often said some version of, “I don’t know how you did it,” or “I couldn’t have handled that myself.” What struck me over time is that these reactions weren’t actually about what I went through. I’ve known and worked with many people who have survived far more. What people were responding to was how I navigated those moments—the decisions I made under pressure, the ways I adapted, and the strategies I used to move forward without losing myself in the process.
That realization shaped my work in a profound way. I began to see that resilience isn’t about toughness or endurance—it’s about learning how to respond differently to different stressors. Some moments need to be fixed. Some require force. And others are healthiest when we choose to let go. This understanding became the foundation of my Fix It, Force It, or Forget It model, a practical framework for responding to stressors more strategically instead of reflexively.
Today, helping individuals and organizations navigate high-pressure moments with clarity and compassion has become an area of deep expertise—and the heart of everything I teach, write, and share.
